Who is Vernon Adams Jr?

On Friday the Ticats acquired QB Vernon Adams Jr. from the Saskatchewan Roughriders to likely serve as QB2 behind Jeremiah Masoli in 2018. Hamilton Head Coach June Jones coached Adams Jr. in the 2016 Shrine Bowl and had this to say after the game.

Since then Vernon has gone undrafted in the NFL. Been Acquired by the BC Lions, traded to Montreal for a first round pick, traded to Saskatchewan, relegated to short yardage QB3 and now traded to Hamilton.
