The Betting Perspective - BC @ OTT
BC (4.5) @ Ottawa: TOTAL 44

Week 4 of the Canadian Football League season continues in the nation's capital when the Ottawa Redblacks welcome the visiting BC Lions Saturday night.
The Lions march into action with a 1-2 record coming off a loss to the Edmonton Elks last week. After left tackle Joel Figueroa went out with injury early in the game against the Elks, BC really struggled to protect quarterback Michael Reilly. The Lions now have both starting tackles out of the lineup, Figueroa joins right tackle Ryker Mathews on the injured list. On the other side of the ball, the Lions defense gave up 127 yards rushing last week to James Wilder Jr in addition to the 296 passing yards accumulated by Trevor Harris in the game.
As for Ottawa, the issue is obvious, the offense struggles to move the ball on a consistent basis. The Redblacks scored their first offensive major in two games last week versus Saskatchewan with under two minutes left in the 4th quarter, after the Riders committed multiple personal foul penalties on the drive that finished off with a Devonte Dedmon rushing touchdown. The Redblacks sit dead last in yards per game in the CFL, as well as the league's worst passing offense with just 247 yards through the air in their first two games.
The betting line movement for this matchup has been straightforward, BC opened on Wednesday as 1.5-point favorites but essentially one way traffic on the Lions has pushed the line to -4.5. BC have the head-to-head trend going in their favor as well, the Lions are 4-0 against the spread in the last 4 meetings versus the Redblacks. BC are clearly the better team, and nothing so far indicates Ottawa will be able to put more than 20 points on the board against anybody in the CFL.
Roll with the road favorites in this game, take the Lions.
