BC @ Winnipeg (-11.5): TOTAL 42

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers can clinch first place in the West division and ensure the West Final will take place at IG Field with a home win over the BC Lions Saturday night.
Other than Edmonton. no team in the CFL is reeling like the BC Lions. Sure, the Redblacks are bad but their focus is on evaluation for next season. Rick Campbell's team have lost three games in a row, all against divisional opponents, including a 39-10 home defeat last weeks versus the Calgary Stampeders. BC are an awful 1-5 against West this season, their only victory coming against Calgary in the second week of the season. Quarterback Michael Reilly only has 10 touchdown passes this season through nine games, on pace for his lowest output since 2014. On the other side of the ball, the Lions have the worst pass-defense in the CFL, allowing over 291 yards per game through the air.
The Blue Bombers had a less than impressive performance last week versus the Edmonton Elks and still won the contest by double digits. Week 11 was just further evidence of how dominant the defending Grey Cup Champions have been in 2021 and they've separated themselves from everybody else in the CFL. Quarterback Zach Collaros has racked up 15 touchdowns against six interceptions this season and may be in a fight with some of his teammates for the Most Outstanding Player award. The Blue Bombers defense continues to shine, they lead the league in interceptions with 12 and have only allowed three touchdown passes against, a remarkable total through ten games.
The betting line in this Bombers, Lions game hasn't budged from the opening -11.5 that was posted earlier this week. Winnipeg failed to cover against the Elks just days ago, but consider this, that was on the road, the Bombers didn't play well and came so close to cashing the ticket.
Expect a bounce back performance from Winnipeg. This one could get ugly.
Pick: Winnipeg -11.5
