The Betting Perspective - TOR @ MTL
Toronto (-1) @ Montreal: TOTAL 48.5

Week 12 in the Canadian Football League kicks off Friday night in Montreal, as the Alouettes welcome the Toronto Argonauts.
The Argos roll into action on a three-game winning streak, including a pair of victories in Week 10 before getting some rest last week. It seems the starting quarterback job is McLeod Bethel-Thompson's to lose in Toronto and maybe a win in Montreal could stamp that in stone for the rest of the season. Bethel-Thompson has 9 touchdown passes against just two interceptions so far in 2021.
The Als have had a whirlwind of events occur around their team the last two weeks, they beat the Redblacks and their quarterback went down with injury in the win. They followed it up with another victory and just days later, General Manager Danny Maciocia pulled the trigger on a trade that acquired respected veteran quarterback Trevor Harris. Currently, Matthew Shiltz is the starting quarterback in Montreal but many are wondering what Harris could accomplish in the blue and red. In the meantime, the circumstances in this matchup for the Als couldn't be any bigger considering the Bombers and Riders are on the schedule for the next three weeks.
The betting line for this game has remained relatively stagnant and the Argos already have a victory over the Alouettes this season. If the same Argos that played in the fourth quarter in Hamilton show up, it's hard to think the Als will be able to keep pace on the scoreboard.
Toronto are 4-0-1 in their last five games against the spread as a favorite, while the Als are 0-6 in their last six games in Montreal.
The Argos are without a doubt, the class of the East division right now and Friday night is another opportunity for the boatmen to assure the road to the Grey Cup will go through Toronto.
